A journey through the lens: My training in Photography, Videography, Blog writing and personal development.
As I look back on the past 9 months, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and growth. It all began in June 2023 when I was embarked on a transformative training program that encompassed the art of photography, videography, and blog writing. Little did I know that this journey would not only enhance my technical skills but also enrich my life in ways I never imagined.
The first mod ule of the training focused on photography, and from the moment I held a camera in my hands, I knew I was about to embark on a remarkable adventure. Learning about composition, lighting, and the art of storytelling through images opened my eyes to a whole new world. Each click of the shutter become an opportunity to capture moments that would last a lifetime.
Next came the world of videography, where I delved into the intricacies of capturing motion and sound. From learning about different camera movements to understanding the power of editing, I found myself immersed in a world where every frame told a story. The ability to convey emotions and narratives and sharing through moving images was a skill that I honed with each passing day.
And then there was a blog writing— a platform for me to express my thoughts, experiences, and creativity. Through this medium, I discovered the power of words and how they could complement visual storytelling. Crafting engaging narratives and sharing my insights with the world become a fulfilling pursuit that allowed me to connect with others on a deeper level.
Throughout this training, I encountered challenges that pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to grow. whether it was capturing the perfect short in challenging conditions or finding the right words to convey my massage, each obstacle become an opportunity for me to learn evolve.
As I reflect on this journey, I’m grateful for the invaluable like skills that I have gained. Not only have I developed technical expertise in photography, videography and blog writing, but I have also cultivated patience, perseverance, and a keen eye for storytelling. This training has not only equipped me with practical skills but has also instilled in me a newfound sense of creativity and self-expression.
I am deeply thankful to Digital Shelter for implementing such a fruitful training program and providing me with the opportunity to explore my passion for visual arts. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Ayan Khalif, the project manager whose unwavering dedication and hard work have been instrumental in guiding me through this transformative journey. Ayan’s exceptional leadership and support have made a lasting impact on me, and I am grateful for her invaluable mentorship.
Finally, I would like to say congratulations to my amazing cohort mates on completing this transformative journey at Digital Shelter!
